We are firm believers that the future of South African hockey lies in the talented players at school level nationwide, which is why we use only the best talent in the country – professionals in the game to offer courses for players aged 8 to 18 and coaches of all levels. Our team of former and current, professional players and coaches will be coming to Ballito to share their knowledge and skills with you this weekend!

Passionate about sharing her expertise with school players like you, SA Women’s Hockey player Shelley Russell is the course captain for our Ballito Academy. She and her team of coaches want to help you develop a solid foundation for further individual growth, with the hopes that you will move up a team, reach your goals or even have the potential to become an international professional in future.

Shelley will be coaching alongside our other professional, passionate coaches including SA national coach Mark Hopkins, provincial coach Sihle Ntuli, provincial player Karen Bower, and SA national players Jethro Eustice, Jacinta Jubb, Louise de Jager, Jonty Robertson and Keegan Robertson.
