  1. How can I join your team?

We are a high-performance training academy that offers courses for girls; not an opportunity to play in a team. Our goal is to give players, regardless of their level in hockey, an opportunity to improve their skills and knowledge by learning from current and former professionals.

  1. What do you offer hockey players and coaches?

We offer courses that are tailored to the level of hockey pertaining to players in that age group. We incorporate every aspect that is needed for the game and help players reach their goals – be it to move up a team or make their provincial team. We also offer coaches the opportunity to stay up-to-date with the latest international coaching techniques, to watch professional coaches working with players, and to create a forum where coaches can share their successful techniques with each other.

  1. What do players need to join?

Here’s the good news – we just want passionate hockey players and coaches! If you have a love for the game, then we want to meet you in August 2017. Players need to be between the ages of eight and 18 to enrol, and all coaches are welcome.

  1. When are your next set of courses?

Join us on 5 and 6 August 2017 at St Stithians College in Sandton.

  1. What courses do you have on offer in August 2017?

Fundamental Players’ Course – ages 8 to 11

Intermediate Players’ Course – ages 12 to 15

Advanced Players’ Course – ages 16 to 18

Advanced Coaches’ Course – all levels

We are based in KZN but take our coaches all over the country to offer courses in the various provinces. Follow us on social media to make sure you don’t miss out on our visit to your province this year.

  1. How long are your courses?

All our courses run for two days – usually over a weekend.

  1. Who are the coaches?

Our coaches are never the same from course to course; we rotate them to ensure that every course has something new to offer players and coaches. Some of our regular coaches include: Shelley Russell, Kelly Madsen, Lindsey Wright, Sheldon Rostron, Sanani Mangisa, Tsoanelo Pholo and Fabian Gregory.

  1. My school team and coaches would like high-performance training. Can you help us?

Larger groups are welcome at our Academy and have two options to choose from. Teams and their coaches can join our scheduled courses throughout the year, or alternatively, they can arrange a Customised Course with us. We will bring our coaches to your school and tailor the course material to the needs of your teams and coaches.
