Working with our team of South African Women’s Hockey legends, we offer precisely tailored courses that cover every aspect necessary to facilitate a winning foundation and the individual growth of each hockey player who attends our courses.

Our goal is to give players, regardless of their level in hockey, an opportunity to improve their skills and knowledge by learning from current and former professionals.

Our courses are specific to age groups and levels of hockey played at each. So make sure you sign up for the right course – here is an outline of each:

Fundamental Players’ Course – ages 8 to 11 years.

Intermediate Players’ Course – ages 12 to 15 years.

Advanced Players’ Course – ages 16 to 18 years.

Upcoming course dates:

Pretoria: 22 – 23 September, St Mary’s School

Potchefstroom: 13 – 14 October, North West University

Stellenbosch: 19 – 20 October, Bloemhof School

Players can expect sessions that touch on the following:

  • game intelligence.

Our course coaches are all current and former, national players and coaches who have plenty of insight into what it takes to get noticed and improve your game. They all have one thing in common – a passion for developing future hockey stars and growing the sport.

Although our coaches are never the same from course to course, some of our regular coaches include: Shelley Russell, Kelly Madsen, Lindsey Wright, Sheldon Rostron, Sanani Mangisa, Tsoanelo Pholo and Fabian Gregory.

At the Investec Hockey Academy, we pride ourselves on developing SA’s passionate, upcoming and aspiring hockey players to help grow the sport nationally and, subsequently, better the future of SA Women’s Hockey. It couldn’t be simpler to register online and we will get back to you with more details.
